Dear Daughters: Remembering the Center of Our Joy

Dear Daughters seeks to help individuals refocus their attention from the cares of this world to remembering that God is the center of our joy. Dear Daughters offers a collection of spirit filled letters that Christian women will find helpful in fostering a more consistent relationship with God. Williams explores ways of being with God, listening to God, and attending the divine presence. Each letter concludes with four sections to stimulate further spiritual growth. The God Speaks section contains morsels from God's Word. The readers are encouraged to take time to think about God's goodness toward them. It is suggested that they ask the Holy Spirit to bring to their consciousness any areas of concern of they might need to address. In the Blessed Assurances section readers are instructed to select a scripture from the God Speaks section to reflect on each day. In The Truth section readers have a chance to write out the truths that they gained during the week. Finally in the Thanksgivings? section the readers have an opportunity to write a prayer of thanksgiving to God for what He is doing in their lives.
