“JJ The American Street Dog and How He Came to Live In Our House” is a beautifully illustrated children's book about rescue pets. The story is told by Maya, a six-year-old girl, who has wanted a dog for as long as she can remember. Just when her parents decide that it's time to buy her that dog, her Uncle Jerry finds a homeless puppy in a park. After a little begging and pleading, Maya's parents agree to adopt the pup, and they name him JJ.
