A brush with death at the hands of an acid-tongued, heavy-fisted nun brings Young Jonathan advance notice from above regarding when his time on Earth will end. The clock of Johnny's life counts down as he negotiates how to deal with his burgeoning sexuality, crush on a man of the cloth, teacher who torments him, and, of course, the nun who knocks him into his vision-inducing blackout.

With the help of his best friend and some highly unusual new acquaintances, Johnny navigates his way through life and answers the age old question: If you knew when you were going to die, would you do things differently?
