In the Hebrew Bible, forty is often used as a measurement of time. For example, Jesus fasted forty days and forty nights in the Judean desert. Forty days was also the period of time from the resurrection of Jesus to His ascension. For the purpose of this book, the number forty represents a period of time for Christian Soldiers to take stock, take inventory of your life, and more importantly your life with God.
