Kristin had everything-her own home, an exciting career, fulfilling volunteer work-in an instant that all changed. She went for a bike ride, but woke up a week later on life support, her life forever altered. In August 2010 an inattentive driver sent her and her bicycle flying into a ditch, and this independent professional was reduced to being totally dependent on others. Medical professionals, family, friends, colleagues, and cats all played their parts in her recovery. Even her beloved touring bike Silver was recovered and reconstructed.

Kristin Noreen picked up the pieces and reassembled them into something new, a bit different, but still her own.
