When an artist's body plummets from an office window at Devor Museum's evening gala, Dani O'Rourke, the museum's chief fundraiser, is the suspect. Self-preservation and her understanding of money in the art world drive her to investigate. Her playboy ex-husband and a green-eyed cop complicate matters as she moves through San Francisco and Santa
