Jonathan Goes to School

A 5-year old boy, Jonathan, faces challenges, as well as fears, concerning his first experiences going to school. Jonathan prepares by learning his alphabet, to use scissors, to tie his shoes, as well as to do other age-appropriate activities. Jonathan worries about bullies, homework, and riding the bus. He relies on his parents to make him feel better, and he knows they will help him deal with issues at school. Jonathan takes all of his problems to God. He shares his emotions and experiences with the reader in a very real and relatable way. His character is inspired by real children, and the problems he faces have been raised in Sunday School and Kids Club.
