To Thee Is This World Given

A provocative novella set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse centered around two people trying to make sense of the human condition as they grapple with the social, psychological, and philosophical implications of living in a lawless world where humans have re-entered the food chain. This story tackles universal apocalyptic/dystopian themes head on, not unlike The Road, I am Legend, and even The Walking Dead before it. But unlike its predecessors, it reaches very different and unexpected conclusions about how we, as a species, would cope with and adapt to such a world. This story offers a response to the anti-humanistic nihilism that dominates post-apocalyptic literature and raises questions about which society is truly dystopian--the aftermath or the present.
