Michael Brooks, recent college graduate, amateur weed dealer, ex-Hoosier and Chicago transplant, comes to in a rat-infested alley with his head pounding, clutching a wooden board like he loves it. Beautiful Ellie, in her short, silk robe, drifts out of Michael's concussed mind making way for the reality he must face: His new apartment? Broken into. His weed? Taken. Money? Gone. Black-eyed and unable to reach his girl, Michael wanders the city wielding a plastic mop and fifty-year-old dictionary in search of the real criminals who took all he had.
