DUNKER, A scholar and basketball star, about to graduate from high school, is smitten by Mariah. She is a senior athlete, too, and plays hardball. After DUNKER asked Mariah to the prom, a whirlwind of events smacks at both of them. It leaves the reader with much to chuckle about.
