Rain had promised to help Ami and Agatha solve their problem, and halt the house's random time traveling. But from the spiritual realm Evalyn is the one who acted. In secrecy she tried to cancel her power binding the house to the vortex. The result is failure and she puts them in possibly greater danger than before.

As their self-proclaimed defender, Rain struggles against foes new and old. However when voices from the past tear at his psyche, he's challenged to retain control of his body.
