The Man with a V

Mother Nature endowed Tom not only with the usual male genitalia, but the additional feature of a vagina in the back of his head. At the time of his birth, Tom's parents decided not to have the extra female part removed, so Tom grew up with a dual-gendered anatomy that gave him both much grief but also considerable pleasure. The story follows him through puberty and coeducational experiences in college as he tries to negotiate a path to love, romance, sex, and marriage. The Man with a V is told from the male point of view of Tom, the main character, but the thread of the drama often is voiced by women such as Clarice. To give away just part of the story, Tom and Clarice are able to cross over the bedroom threshold from superheated passionate intercourse to the café setting of cool and compassionate discourse, as they counsel each other on later romantic entanglements.
