Sarah has sacrificed her career as an artist to the demands of a secure and happy marriage. For there is no doubt that her husband Robin loves and cherishes her; when he looks at her, it's as if her presence is a constant and wonderful surprise. Dependable, protective and infinitely patient, he is ever tolerant of the chaos that reigns in a household with two very lively little boys and a wife who guiltily yearns to resume the career she has abandoned.

Then Leah, a meddlesome acquaintance from Sarah's art college days, re-enters her life, forcing open a door to the past.

Sarah must now resolve one way or another the passionate love affair with Finn, the man who molded her, shaped both the person and the artist, and then destroyed them both.

Robin has shown her it is possible to exist without Finn, but will she ever be able to live without him ? She must choose between the two men for she cannot have both.
