Knightfall: Book one of the CODM prophecy

Exzalander: a forbidden name, chosen by the gods themselves to signify their warrior, the person who will reunite Anarkhane's stone to return balance to Maldahl and conquer the dark of Katahl's reign. Kirsten Vai: Average teenager, obnoxious, outspoken, though not as rude as some. When Kirsten receives P.E. detention, it feels as though life can't get any worse, when in reality, that's just the beginning of her troubles when it becomes apparent that the murderer, who has been all over the news, is killing his way across half of Europe in order to find her.

Despite her insistence that she doesn't know the man or why he has shown such an interest in her, Inspector Stevenson remains convinced that they are connected and seems determined to prove that the recent deaths are somehow her fault. The strange thing is, she feels that she is to blame. From the moment she hears about the killer, she becomes fixated with him.

The Police think she's crazy, the killer thinks she's some missing princess from another world and she'd rather crawl in a hole and pretend none of it's happening; unfortunately for her, that isn't an option.

Destined since before birth to restore the gem of creation and return power to the ancient gods, she sets out on the quest to find the lost shards of Anarkhane's stone. With unlikely help from fairies, dragons, a priest and a police inspector, she seeks to fulfil her destiny, not because she really wants to, but because she has no choice. She can neither go home to earth nor exist on Maldahl, because once Katahl discovers who she is, he will stop at nothing to blot her out of existence.
