Shadows In The Dark

War is raging all across Europe. Countries are fighting each other for each meter gained on the battlefield, and Edward Borden is caught in the middle of this turmoil. Fighting with a battalion through gas attacks, shells and close encounters with the enemy, death surrounds Edward on all sides. In the war-torn countryside of Europe, Edward learns about life, death and everything in between.

An assassination of an important official triggers an impossible ultimatum and since the requirements could not be met, it triggered a war. The idea itself was simple enough, but in the eyes of Edward Borden, a boy just reaching his adulthood, the war was more of a patriotic pursuit than a political squabble.

However, patriotic pursuit can lead to devastation. As the country of France is torn apart in the war, Edward arrives in France with the newly formed Canadian Corps.

In France, Edward has many new experiences and new trials, but he must learn another important lesson- to leave these moments into the back of his mind, and focus on his present struggles.
