Sugar Crash

Darci Thompson has spent the last six years since her husband's death trying to hold everything together. A busy single mom, she's managed to raise 12-year-old Taylor while holding down a good job all on her own. She doesn't need or want any help because that would mean letting someone close enough that she could get hurt again. No, it's safer to be alone.

But when Taylor ends up in the hospital, her diagnosis of Type I Diabetes sends their carefully constructed life into a tailspin. For the sake of her daughter, Darci must face a whole new set of circumstances and push past her self imposed walls to prove that Diabetes won't define them.

With the help of new friends and Cam, a man who believes in her, Darci finds the strength to challenge the stereotypes and make a difference for her daughter. But letting Cam get close also means being vulnerable. Is Darci willing to face her own demons and take that risk once again?
