Visions

Mary in her Christian walk finds God does nothing but disappoint her continuously. Her husband dies of cancer at age forty seven, she looses a good friend, also to cancer, and develops what doctors think is a form of schizophrenia. Her son Todd returns from the road as a truck driver and heroically sets out to find a way to help his mother who ends up in a mental institution. He seeks out a church where he can find true worshipping believers who pray and believe in the power of God and brings his mother there where she is prayed over. Mary finds she has the gift of prophecy and learns one of her fellow patients is dying. She and Todd seek to bring her to find healing and instead she is healed of her unbelief. Mary learns to wait on God and worship Him in sickness and in health, even when she can't understand His ways.
