Treasure's Tears

It was the summer of 1990, and the Watters family had hit a crossroads in their lives. Terrance, Rossalyn, and their two children; twelve-year old Treasure and seventeen-year old Jason were moving away from Seattle. They were relocating from the Evergreen State of Washington to Columbus, Ohio, home of the Buckeye’s. Transferring was a condition of Terrance accepting a promotion to Project Accounting Manager with B.F. Meyer and Associates.
They would miss the Emerald City with its many memorable experiences. From its famous space needle to the majestic views Mount Rainer offered; Seattle was gorgeous. They would also long for the warm, maritime climate that had supported their year-round outdoor activities. It would be difficult adjusting to the hot summers and the cold winters Ohio had to offer. The comforts they were leaving behind certainly made their move unsettling.
