Oscar Wilde once said 'Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live; it is asking others to live as one wishes to live.' Hard lessons are difficult for a reason. Learning from our mistakes is supposed to make us stronger. Watching those that you love, die, is never easy, but it is our right to deal with it our own way. There is no wrong way to grieve, but there is a right way to care. I've straddled that fence. This is my story.
