The book focuses on the ten year period after the accident and the incredible events that occur. As a result of his mental illness the man goes on a manic rampage across Texas, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico which results in a series of DUIs, assaults and shoplifting arrests. Just as he is facing six months in an Arizona prison he shoots himself but does not die.
Dr. Donna Nicholson retired from her last superintendent's position in 2009 and now provides consulting services to clients across the United States. Donna has held positions as a superintendent of school districts in Colorado and Alabama, and a charter school system with campuses in many of the major cities in Texas. Donna was the recipient of the 1992 Texas Key Communicator Award. Governor Ann Richards nominated her for this prestigious honor due to her work in creating business education coalitions across the state and helping raise Texas graduation standards through a nationally recognized scholars program.
