Hungry Jack is a call to empathy and action for children:

Hungry Jack is the true inspirational story of an orphan boy who runs away, rides on trains with hobos, and joins a circus. When he grows up, he teaches his children the lessons that he has learned: to be grateful for everyday blessings, to seek understanding rather than judge others, to view work as necessary to self-esteem, and to put action into kindness, share and work together.
