Pvt. Richard Leslie

With his son-in-law, Roger Storkamp, as co author, Richard Leslie reveals details of his combat experiences in the Philippine Islands including an unprecedented parachute drop onto Corregidor and the ensuing battle. He presents an honest view of courage, fear, and self preservation strategies. Atrocities committed on both sides have created an emotional toll that plagued him throughout his eighteen months of continuous combat and continued to haunt him while writing/dictating his memoire. As per his request it not be published until his ashes "dusted the breeze." He passed away on Good Friday, 2013.
