Eighteen years after being diagnosed with simple partial epilepsy, Erica had hit a wall. With daily seizures and debilitating side effects from her medications, she decided she had a long life ahead of her and if there was any chance she could beat her epilepsy, she owed it to herself to try.

From the day she decided to have a brain surgery that could possibly cure her, Erica chronicles her journey through anticipation, hope,
