The Weight

Garol Schand is a thirty­four­year­old furniture salesman and former star college quarterback sidelined by alcoholism, dyslexia, and hysterical anxiety. When Garol wakes in a full body cast he is forced to deal with his past failures and present predicament exacerbated by a zany nurse, a benevolent chess­playing postmaster, and his own plastic doppelganger. Set in an isolated a desert oasis, The Weight is a surreal comedy with a quirky perspective on dealing with addiction, self­loathing, and the meaning of existence.
