Giving birth at the young age of 14 years old, Special was 17 years old, pregnant with two children and in foster care. Through spiritual guidance, determination and tears, Special has endured and overcome living with a drug-addicted parent, foster care and rape. Special had to overcome sexual and physical abuse, betrayal, death, murder and being a single parent. Special survived and is successful.
When the odds were against Special, she did not turn to drugs, alcohol, or anger as a way to relieve her pain. Special worked hard, completed a graduate degree and stayed focused on her pursuit to love, peace and happiness.
