Froggy Family's First Frolic

This children's picture book has 18 color reproductions of original oil paintings. The other 18 pages tell the semi-fictional but plausible story of a night in the life of a Red Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis Callidryas) family. The new parents Fern and Reid take their offspring on their first outing. Frogs are adorable creatures that are very much like us (they have almost as many bones, and eat, sleep, reproduce and play) and deserve, like every living being, compassionate care and respect. Margot Fass, the author and illustrator, is a practicing psychiatrist.
