In The Room: An Actor's Guide To Auditioning

Pedro Miguel Arce has appeared in over a dozen feature films like; George A. Romero's Land Of The Dead, Get Rich Or Die Trying, Are We Done Yet, Please Kill Mr. Know It All, and most recently, Mortal Instruments - City of Bones, 20 television commercials including: A&W, Dell Computers, Labatt's Blue, Kudo, 3 Mobil (Asia) Poker Lotto and Mitsubishi, and over 20 TV shows including How I met Your Mother, CSI:Miami, Las Vegas, Flashpoint, Lost Girl, and Warehouse 13.

Pedro honed his acting skills by training in Los Angeles at the Berg Institute, in Toronto with EVN Studios and also trained in The Second City where he developed some of his improvisation skills.

Pedro has walked into many an audition room in Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal , and booked the job. He has also submitted self-tapes, and has even booked a couple auditions via Skype.

Recently Pedro started working on the other side of the camera as a producer and director. While holding auditions for a project he was directing, Pedro was amazed by how ill prepared some of the actors were in their readings, so he decided to write this book to help fellow actors learn a thing or two about going into the room.
