One more ounce of courage

MSG Manuel Benavidez, USA Ret. wrote this autobiography to be an inspiration for today’s teenagers. He tells the story of his journey through a time of little hope for his success or improvement. He shares stories (some funny, some sad) of hate, racism, and crime experienced during his childhood; but most importantly, how he overcame these and succeeded because of his military service that began as a dare, at age 17. That dare made a tremendous, positive change in his life and took him around the world to places he never thought he would see. He recounts exciting stories of the elite Airborne Rangers and Special Forces military units he volunteered for, qualified for, and served with during his 24-year military career.
