Rotten Legend

Before sunrise on the morning that will mark the end of the world they have known, Dr. Cho prepares her patient Cyrus for the last treatment in a set of experimental injections. The sterile inside of the Infirmary of the Burkville Institution is not very comforting, but the hope for a cure is reassuring. The full moon casts a foreboding glow into the small tiled room where Cyrus returns for the night. He can sense a change coming, but the transformation he experiences results in a horror that nobody could have ever imagined.

In downtown Greensboro, a failed architect and survivalist named Chase is discussing with his dog his unfortunate decline from wealth, and his qualms about his new job working for the city of Greensboro. His pessimistic discourse with man's best friend, Nika, helps him feel better after a long day of work. His relaxation is interrupted, however, by a foreboding message on the television reporting a chemical spill; and warning people to stay inside their homes with doors locked and windows shut. He eventually falls asleep, but is soon awakened when an uninvited guest comes knocking at the door.

Rotten Legend is set in Greensboro, NC and the surrounding rural areas amidst the decimation of a viral outbreak. Rotten Legend combines gruesome horror, intense action, and the disturbing drama of unlikely relationships between survivors in a collapsing world. Enter a place where the survivors must question who is more dangerous; the Infected or themselves?
