ME... 101 Indispensable Insights I Didn't Get in Therapy

Under normal circumstances, the elements of spirituality are all but cast out of a therapy session. In therapy, we acknowledge the emotions, thoughts and sensations of our bodies, but we ignore the indispensable spiritual aspect of the human experience, without which we would not exist. This human dilemma, in which we find ourselves, is wrought with experiences that are beyond cognitive understanding. It is likely that each one of us will experience unspeakable, numinous, transformative and spiritual experiences, and never know what to call them, or worse, how to be with them. I just didn't get that in therapy!
