In July 2007, a perilous journey began that led one woman into an unwelcome battle ... with Stage 4 breast cancer. As she valiantly engaged in the fight, she also cultivated new depths of understanding for her family, friends, and even strangers on her walk of faith.

In a matter of weeks, Beth Bello went from being ecstatically pregnant to grieving the loss of her unborn child and facing an unthinkable diagnosis. Medical professionals found a growth in her breast that they first classified as "worrisome" but, after early rounds of testing, Beth soon realized she was facing the most challenging chapter of her Earthly life - the final one.

On July 18, 2007, Beth emailed her first official "Update" to a group of family and friends. On March 14, 2009, Beth emailed her last post - Update 21.
