Pride Aside: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction

Addiction is a disease. So is Cancer. Decades ago we whispered when speaking of a Cancer diagnosis. Today, through awareness, it is appalling to think there was ever a stigma attached to Cancer. Instead we are now vocal about Cancer, we seek answers, we seek cures, and we seek prayer. However, the stigma attached to the disease of Addiction is still very real. The diagnosis is still whispered. Pride Aside is one Father's attempt to be vocal, to share answers he has discovered, to share treatment experiences, and to share his family's need for prayer.
