Married, but Single

Beth finally marries Ross, only to find out that he is not the man that she dreamed of. Not only does he become controlling mentally and verbally abusive; but she learns through the years that he also delves into the underworld.

Ross abandons his responsibilities to the marriage, leaving Beth to deal with abandonment and rejection.
