Mahjong Is Murder

When Sheriff Pete Grange is called to the scene of a mass poisoning at the senior citizens' center, the community of Goose Down, Ohio is besieged by the second tragedy to befall the town in as many years. Gert Schwab, a beloved center member, has died at the scene with more victims barely clinging to life as the much-anticipated mahjong tournament is brought to a terrible end. Once simple food poisoning is ruled out, Sheriff Grange and his small department of law enforcement begin their search for a killer, dodging red herrings, real estate developers and a nefarious family of misfits.
