Ailia (What it's like to be 11 years old and have Down syndrome)

This book is about Ailia, a fourth grader who has Down syndrome. In it Ailia explains what Down syndrome is. She goes on to describe some things she struggles with as a result of this syndrome. More importantly, she points out that she is more similar to other children than she is different. Her sense of humor, patience and perseverance shine through in the pages of this book.
