Gaston Collins came from a time and place shaped by the pioneer spirit of David Crockett and the Godly spirit of David Lipscomb. The greatest influence on his life, though, was the Word of God. The ebook contains the text, endnotes, and bibliography. The print editions also contain 130 photographs and 9 appendices. Most of the appendices are writings of E. Gaston Collins. Many of the photographs are very old, and some are not what is normally considered publishing quality. They are included, however, in the belief that a low-resolution picture is better than no picture.
