Memoirs of a Ping Jockey started as the daily journal entries of a Sonarman Third Class pinging for enemy submarines in World War II. Years later, Ken Fidler began a beloved Christmas tradition of giving each of his children written versions of the stories of his life one chapter at a time.
Now Ken has compiled these stories into a chronological telling of his early life, from his unusual birth in Reading, Pennsylvania to the births of his two children.
