Invasion From Fred

Joey meets up with Mars who hails from the planet Fred. It's the same planet we call Mars. He is joined up by his friends and his grandmother to help Mars find an identity, and to also thwart some strip mining and an invasion from Fred. The book deals with coming of age, finding one's identity, female rights, and the distinct differences between the generations of Joey's family.
