This is the tale of one ferret's daring escape from a local pet store. He dodges The Gatekeepers at every turn until a giant dog named Rufus finds him. And then the real adventure begins.

DANTE is based on Ms. Miller's experiences with her two ferret friends, Jester and Puck. She's the pet whisperer in her family, and loves all of her furry, and sometimes feathered, friends.
