In those not-so-wonderful windows, mental, physical and emotional health can take a back seat to competing needs and peace at any price. The result? Lost sleep. Lost battles. Even lost love for the sake of personal preferences.

What are we actually teaching our children?

Uncommon Sense is a God-given lifestyle that bucks the system and creates a whole new approach to life together.

• It is based on loving Scriptures because Christ told us that our two most important commandments are to love God and to love one another.
• It is aware that “love covers a multitude of sins” and that “he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.” The Bible has told us this, and we have experienced it.
• It is emotionally intelligent, educated on the brain and human nature, respectful of the preciousness of time, and sensitive to the need for belonging, appropriate affection, and accountability.

It is, quite simply, uncommon and sensible.
