As an adult survivor of severe childhood physical and emotional abuse, Greg L. Reid arrived at a point in his life when he realized he needed help with issues related to the abuse he suffered as a child. Before taking the step of working with a therapist, he went searching for books written by other men who had experienced and survived similar experiences in their pasts. He found many such books written by women, but none by men.

So, he wrote his own.

And, he held nothing back.

Reid's painfully graphic autobiography takes you inside his life, starting from a very young boy. The reader will cringe with his pain, shiver with his fear, hurt with his injuries, rage at his oppressors ... and cry at the overwhelmingly savage treatment of a boy at the hands of his own parents.

Writing his story was therapeutic for Reid... choosing to publish it was to help others.
