The Muster

Things are tough in the Australian bush, especially when, in the midst of a drought, a snap Federal election is called - and it will coincide with planning for a muster in station country.

Sandy is having trouble keeping his mind on the job at hand.

His ageing father is refusing to hand over any semblance of control; his wife is angry because the boys won't be going away to boarding school until the drought breaks and finances improve; there are rumours that the leases held by the mountain cattlemen will be cancelled; and now local farmers appear to be under threat from extremist animal welfare groups.

What more could go wrong?
