Dripping with dope and hamburger grease, a disturbed young man accidentally commits an atrocity which sets him loose out into the world accompanied by the object of his obsession: a violent, green-haired girl.

This vile pair of humans must survive themselves, each other, and all the grossness of modern society as they plunge further down the food chain.

Working as both a satire of contemporary vices and a parody of the ‘murderous road trip’ subgenre, The Infernal Sugar Dive is the first full-length work by James Andre, publisher of Milk Shadow Books. This black comedy story, written using a ‘slime of consciousness’ style, may require the reader to use some hand sanitiser after finishing it.
