Durham Dreaming

Professor Sygon was interested in one thing and that was his research. If anything was guaranteed to annoy him it was interruption of his work by idiot students, incompetent colleagues, interfering administrators, or his daughter who had recently decided to spend more time to better get to know him. If that was not bad enough a police investigation of bodies found near the university campus caused more disruption. It was enough to drive any self-respecting Research Professor of Molecular Genetics to drink.

The setting is the gothic city of Durham in the north east of England. It appears to feature vampires, aliens and most unbelievably of all, university politics.
