Frank Coraci directed this romantic comedy, set in 1985, about bar mitzvah and wedding singer Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler), who offers his renditions of '80s top tunes along with humorous party patter. Julia Sullivan (Drew Barrymore), a waitress at these events, plans to marry womanizing boor Glen (Matthew Glave), but after Robbie gets stood up at his own wedding, it becomes evident that destiny should have brought Robbie and Julia together instead -- so their courtship begins.
