Grotto

A young out of work actor takes a job as a department store Father Christmas, thinking it's going to be easy money for minimal effort. But someone is going to walk through the door of his Grotto that will turn his life upside down. A young girl with the darkest secret......

Grotto was first produced at the Supernova 6 New Writing Festival in 2014 and then at the Totton Festival of Drama by the Bench Theatre Company where it won the festival's award for Best Original Script. Grotto is perfect as a festival entry or as part of a one act play evening.
