London. Madrid. Bogotá. Each offers only a harsh reality to these young protestors: the defeat of all their ideals. However far a burnt-out political activist can run, the world only poses new threats and dangers, and not a glimmer of another future. Or does it?

In Colombia an awkward friendship grows between a man from London and a woman from Madrid. As they meet those around the world who have also confronted global power, a new hope begins to emerge, a hope that does not rely on waiting for others to act, but on taking action themselves. Now if they can only defeat their personal demons, they might really be able to change the world...
