Subdued Anthems: Back Catalogue, Volume 1

In 2014, Nick released his debut collection of poetry, Perception of Light. The first volume of two featuring Nick's back catalogue, Subdued Anthems consists of material originally circulated via the Hedgehog House imprint. Here, the recurring themes of attachment and separation, innocence and experience, are interspersed with meditations on the contemporary significance of seasonal commemorations and the affirmation that "love's the equator:/the one constant/among variables/like the standard of medical care/and the price of sparrows."
