What the author discovers will horrify and surprise you. What's in this book is what's in your house, and it's bad for you.
The Sensitive Human is a wake-up call with warnings reminiscent of Rachel Carson's Silent Spring. In 1962 Carson wrote that the elimination of all unnecessary chemical carcinogens would greatly mitigate the threat that one in every four will develop cancer. This projection now stands at one in every two people in the UK developing cancer at some point in their lives.
The author shares her journey to finding the root cause and recovering from an affliction for which she was told by health professionals there was no miracle cure. An inspiring and informative read for anyone seeking to recover optimum health, whatever the symptoms of malaise may be. While the book does not claim to be a tinnitus miracle cure, it does set out steps the author took for a natural treatment of tinnitus that personally helped her. The author believes that these same steps can be of great help in treating many other conditions and help boost overall health at the same time. As the author embarked on a natural cure for tinnitus she was surprised to find that in tandem with self-treating tinnitus, a lifetime suffering of rhinitis and thrush disappeared too.
The book includes delicious recipes such as healthy curries, salads and summer and winter muesli, reminding us that nature has everything we need to nourish our mind, body and soul. The beautiful homemade perfumes, natural bath bombs, hand creams and essential oils advice are a delightful bonus, making this not only an enlightening story, but also a useful reference guide to return to again and again.
