Many Parts Towards the Whole: A Journey of Self Transformation

This is the life story of Roslyn Langdon, who at the age of eighteen left her native South Africa, soon after the Second World War, full of ambition to make her mark in the British theatre. After a successful period as an actress in repertory, in BBC radio drama, and with parts in television, in film and West End theatre (where she worked with such well-known actors as Peter O'Toole, Nigel Hawthorne, Donald Sutherland and Sean Connery), the course of her life was suddenly changed by personal tragedies. She was forced to explore other forms of livelihood in order to support her young daughter.
